Lachie graduated from the University of the Sunshine Coast as an Occupational Therapist in 2013. Upon graduating he has worked in a variety of community health settings on the Sunshine Coast mostly dealing in post-acute community care, before moving to Toowoomba in early 2015 to specialise in Hand Therapy. Since this time he has completed substantial post-graduate education through both the AHTA as well as the University of Derby Master’s program which lead to him achieving formal accreditation as a Hand Therapist in 2018. In 2017 Lachie presented to the Queensland Hand Surgery Society annual scientific meeting about current concepts in the conservative treatment of wrist injuries.
